I have worked at ParentSmart since 2003. My responsibilities include working with the York County Family Resource Center medical clinic staff and the school nurses to help provide services to uninsured children in Rock Hill Schools. I also work with all Title 1 schools, especially Ebenezer Avenue Elementary School, concentrating on parental involvement, Parents as Teachers home visitations, and parenting. Other duties include coordinating volunteers, especially from Winthrop Universtiy, and working with the Dolly Parton Imagination Library.
I have a BA from Winthrop University in Psychology and Sociology/Social Work. My background prior to ParentSmart was social work with developmentally delayed children. I am married with three adult children. My hobbies include gardening, cooking, crafts and volunteering. Please call me if I can assist you or answer any questions.
